Odd coincidences form a bond between two women scientists.  Add a star if you don't mind stuff about testing on animals.

Elevation by Stephen King

Good writing not stopped by a weird concept.  Scott Carey is losing weight without getting smaller or weaker.  What will happen when his weight hits zero?

4 stars.

Ambush by James Patterson and James O. Born

Latest Detective Michael Bennett story.  Most of the book was pretty good, but deducting a star for the ridiculous ending.

There was aBennett short story at the end of the book that was pretty good.

A Spark of Light by Jodi Picoult

The story of those effected by an abortion clinic shooting.  It was a good story with good characters, but I didn't care for the reverse timeline format.

When nine people go to a health spa for a ten-day retreat, they get more than they bargained for.

End of Watch by Stephen King

Retired detective Kermit Hodgeson continues to chase Brady Hartsfield, despite Brady being hospitalized for persistent brain damage.  Sidekicks Jerome and Holly help him out. 

Lost half a star for the strange premise.
