This One is Mine by Maria Semple.
I loved the Bernadette book so much, I just had to read anything else written by Ms. Semple. While I didn't love this one, it was interesting and good characters.
Money can't buy happiness for Violet Parry, the wife of a music mogul. A chance encounter with small-time bass player leads Violet on a path toward abandoning her near-perfect life.
