Harry Harristeen and company work to solve the murder of a local history professor and a homeless man. Are the two related? In tandem is another story about the Revolutionary War and the prisoners held in Albermarle county.
I was annoyed by the war story being inserted, mostly because there were so many characters to keep straight, but it was all nicely tied together at the end. Also, nice that Matilda got to be a hero.
3.5 stars, but add a half star if you're particularly interested in history, which I'm not.
